Urgent Treatment
Because pain can strike at any time we normally keep a number of appointments free each day so that you can be seen as quickly as possible.
What to do in an emergency
1. Call Us!
There is no substitute for the correct advice. The sooner you are seen, the sooner you will feel better.
2. Hot v Cold
Many people's first reaction to pain is to apply heat packs or cold compresses to the area. As a rule of thumb, if you are suffering from a new or sudden onset of pain, applying a cold pack to reduce early inflammation is best.
If you have an old (chronic) injury, the application of warmth to improve circulation and loosen tissues is preferred.
